When a Nanny comes to the Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg there are insurances available to suit their needs, such as the ISIS Au Pair Insurance or Allianz Global . This insurance covers the au pair for emergency medical costs, luggage, liability and extra expenses (for example, extra travelling expenses when due to the serious illness of a close relative).
An au pair insurance must be purchased by the host family and prior to the au pair’s departure from their home country. This way you can guarantee that your Au pair is insured for her entire stay abroad.
Please note that pre-existing medical and dental conditions are excluded from cover. For all the exclusions we refer to the policy conditions.
The ISIS Au Pair Insurance has the following features:
Cover for emergency medical costs, extra expenses (such as extra travelling expenses when due to the serious illness of a close relative), repatriation costs, luggage, cancellation costs, accidents, holidays with/without the host family (depending on cover chosen Au Pair or Au Pair Plus).
Maximum insurance period of 2 years.
Maximum age of 35 years.
Choice between 2 levels of cover, Au Pair or Au Pair Plus.
Insurance meets Schengen visa requirements.
Emergency medical costs are covered during a one-off visit to their Home Country (maximum 31 days).
The insurance must be purchased by the Host Family prior to the au pair’s departure from their home country.
What Host Families say about us

"Very positive. After I have sent my family registration form, in one day I was called for interview at home (which I find very enjoyable). I have also sent all required documents and chosen for faster procedure..... "
